The inaugural RSR Elite Boys program of 2024 put 22 athletes on the podium!
As a team, the men's and women's teams earned the most YOUTH points at the regatta (Youth and U17).
We are so proud of our team and their performance and cannot wait to see what we can do next year!
The men took home a silver medal in the Men's Youth 4+!
We also earned bronze medals in the U23 Men's 8+, Youth 4-, U23 Men's 1X, and U17 2X.
And RSR took the gold medal and Summer National Championship with the Youth 1X and the U23 Men's Lightweight 4X.
We are thrilled to have had our first RSR Elite Boys Racing Camp in the summer of 2024!
Now we're looking forward to 2025!!

RSR Elite Program Specifics
RSR Elite is a safe and supportive camp environment for athletes to pursue athletic excellence and personal growth through leadership, emotional management and resilience training.
Who
All junior and early college-level male rowers (age 13-19) as of December 31, 2025 with at least one season’s experience of sweep rowing or sculling for safety reasons.
There are factors critical for the safety of all our rowers, notably the ability to swim.
Erg time recommendations for a 2K: sub 7:10 for 13-16 year olds, sub 6:40 for 17-19 year olds.
RSR also selects up to four RAs (rigging assistants) to lead the team and race at Nationals in the Youth categories.
Open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.)
How
Mental skills are practiced daily and you will spend 7-10 hours per week building your mental game. And most importantly, we have fun!

All camp athletes train at the Lindamood- VanVoorhis Boathouse and the Harmar Rowing Club Boathouse. We will row 8+, 4+, 4X, 4-, 2X, 2- and 1X on the Muskingum and Ohio River.
Athletes and coaches will stay in the dorms on campus walkable to the boathouse. And athletes will eat all meals at the Gilman Dining Hall on campus and walkable to the dorms.
All athletes will travel to compete at the Summer National Championships (USRowing RowFest).
NOTE: RSR Elite is solely operated by Ready Set Row LLC, which is not affiliated with The Board of Trustees of the host.
When: june 18, 2025 - July 15, 2025
All athletes train for three weeks and then travel with the team to the Summer National Championship and compete. All athletes compete and depart directly from the National Championship.
Cost: $8950. includes all room, board, hotel, regatta fees and transportation to the regatta
Athletes are responsible for getting to the site (or Columbus John Glenn Airport where you can take a shuttle) and getting home from the regatta.
This camp must comply with regulations of the local governing entity and camp licensing. Parents may request copies of background checks, health care and discipline policies as well as procedures for filing grievances.
We encourage families to purchase travel insurance such as the one HERE at TravelSafe. We recommend purchasing the "Classic" package that covers "cancellation for any reason." RSR does not have a relationship with TravelSafe or any travel insurance companies so please do your own due diligence.
RSR will only offer a refund (minus $1500) for those athletes formally invited to the USRowing Selection Team in Chula Vista to race at the Junior World Championship. We still encourage you to purchase "cancel for any reason" coverage if you intend to apply to the Junior World Team. A refund is not offered for another rowing camp or any other USRowing camp.
